Over 20 Hawker Fury Aircraft were
recovered from Baghdad by David Tallichet and Ed Jurist. These aircraft were brought back
to the US in the late 70's. Over the years most of these had been sold off and rebuilt.
Mr. Tallichet retained 5 of the best aircraft his own needs. This project is the best of
the lot and had been sold by Courtesy Aircraft to the present owner. The current owner has
started restoration.The aircraft is located in Sonoma, California.
Details:
Cockpit restoration
and jump seat conversion by Sanders Aircraft – cleaned and painted light Grey Imron.
Extended new canopy frame with glass. Most major cockpit parts included – seat,
windshield, stick assembly, throttle quadrant, rudder bar assembly, trim console, landing
gear controls.
Wing Center Section in
stock, un-restored condition, very complete.
Outer wing panels in
stock un-restored condition.
Aft Fuselage stripped
externally, otherwise, stock un-restored tail landing gear.
Almost
all fairings and cowlings sections – NOS.
Drop tanks and pilons.
Additional items

R-3350 26WD Engine with some accessories
Ezell R-3350 conversion kit. With oil tank, engine mount, carb ducting and cowl mounts
Four blade rotal spinner
F-102 wheels and brakes
Misc spares including special hardware and seals
