Restoration started by the
Central California Valley Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force. This aircraft is registered as N313BT but has never
had an airworthiness certificate issued. This is because it hasnt flown since the
end of WWII. Records for succession of ownership are available.
Work that has been
completed:
- Wet fuel Cells of the Wing Center Section have been cleaned of the zinc chromate putty
sealant originally used in manufacture.
- The Fuselage Frame has been cleaned and primed. The
Fuselage is in excellent condition.
- The Main Gear have been overhauled with new O-rings.
- The Canopy Frames have been cleaned and painted.
- The Control Surfaces are recovered and are finished through silver.

Engine Cowl
Fuselage Side Panels
Flight Control Surfaces
Landing Gear Assemblies
Outer Wings
Parts that require repair:
- Wing Center Section has few dents in the leading edge
- Wet Fuel Tanks need new skins along with corresponding inspection ring and plates.
- Tail Cone needs front bulkhead repairs- parts are included.
