Exterior:                   Green and Grey camouflage, Red cowl, Yellow tail. Markings are those of Col. David   Schilling, commander of the Fifty-sixth Fighter Group.

RESTORATION DETAILS:
Aircraft restoration started by Air Heritage 1991-1992, completed by Midwest Aviation Museum – Danville, IL 1997. Aircraft was disassembled, cleaned, inspected, rewired, cockpits completely restored to stock configuration, all hydraulics overhauled.
