Frakes Turbine Mallard G-73T
N730RS s/n J-50
One of
the Last Mallard’s Ever Made
Low-Time, A Pristine Sea Plane!
$1,750,000
History:
Mallard J-50 was built in 1948. Since its construction, it has never been
used for charter operations, only for use as an executive aircraft for
several corporations before being “retired” to individual use. Mallard J-50
was one of the last Mallards of its serial numbers to be produced, and as a
result is one of the LOWEST time Mallards in existence. The aircraft has
been kept in a heated hanger, and has undergone major improvements to the
interior, exterior, avionics, engines, and bilge compartments. No expense
has been spared in maintaining this executive class aircraft. It has also
undergone extensive ultrasonic, NDT, x-ray and visual inspections of the
wing spar, and has passed with flying colors.
