  • Has been converted to a two seat dual control model with a very large rear seat and a small instrument panel with a Manifold pressure, RPM gauge as well as airspeed and altimeter
  • Overturn structure with a shoulder harness attached to pull at the correct angle in case of sudden stop
  • Landing gear trunion bolts all have been changed to a much stronger than original Russian bolts and the rudder bar checked thin wall tubing found on some Yaks.
  • Dual air system with external service provision and electric air pump.
  • The flaps are operated by a 1500 lb. of force, linear actuator built by the Nook Corporation, which also slows flap extension and allows the use of intermediate positions.
  • The brakes are toe pedal actuated Cleveland brakes with metallic linings using a Cleveland 199-67 conversion kit and Cleveland 10-36 brake master cylinders with a large remote reservoir. The brakes allow the use of US made tires and multiple stops without the brake fade found with the Russian brakes.
  • A full pressure oxygen system is installed
  • JPI 450 digital coolant temp gauge is installed along with a new production analog gauge and both have separate warning lights that warn of both red line and five degree before redline with red and amber lights.
  • A late model mag/ late model cylinders and banks and the latest style ignition harness, as well as an extra large water pump were used ruing build of engine during overhaul.

Complete set of original Russian manuals consisting of a Flight/Maintenance/Description and operating manual/ Description and Operating instruction (all in English) and complete records of this airplane are included along with receipts of all money spent on this airplane.

Allison parts, overhaul and operation instruction manuals are included.
Hamilton Standard parts and overhaul manual are also part of this package along with a Hamilton Standard set of prop tools.
