Damage history:
The aircraft was taxied into one dark and foggy morning by a Cherokee while parked on the ramp at Jefferson City, Mo., in Nov. 1989. The offending Cherokee’s propeller cut into the rear of the left wing between the flap and aileron. Field repairs were made and the aircraft flown elsewhere where the damaged area was expertly repaired with all new Piper parts.
